Daily Itinerary

Day 1: Kilimanjaro International Airport to Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, meet your LandAfrica driver and transfer to Arusha, a scenic 45–60-minute drive. Enjoy your first views of the Tanzanian landscape and local life before arriving at your lodge. Relax, enjoy dinner, and spend the night in Arusha.

Day 2: Arusha to Mara river

After breakfast in Arusha, transfer to Arusha Airport for your flight to the Northern Serengeti, taking approximately 2.5 hours. Upon arrival, meet your guide and head towards the Mara River for an exciting game drive.
With patience and careful positioning, watch as wildebeest gather along the riverbanks and, when the moment comes, witness the dramatic crossing with crocodiles and predators nearby. Later, return to camp for dinner and overnight in the Northern Serengeti with LandAfrica.

Day 3: Mara river

After breakfast, spend the day exploring the Mara River in the Northern Serengeti, watching migration herds gather along the riverbanks. With patience and good timing, witness the dramatic wildebeest river crossing, with crocodiles in the water and predators nearby.
Enjoy a packed lunch in the wilderness before continuing your afternoon game drive. As the sun sets over the Serengeti plains, return to camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Mara river to Central Serengeti
After breakfast, depart from the Northern Serengeti towards the Central Serengeti, enjoying game viewing along the way. The five-hour journey offers chances to spot lions, cheetahs, elephants, wildebeest, and other wildlife across the plains.
Enjoy a packed lunch en route before continuing your afternoon game drive. Arrive at camp in the early evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Central Serengeti

After breakfast, enjoy a full day of game drives in the Serengeti, exploring its vast plains and searching for wildlife. Look out for lions, cheetahs, elephants, wildebeest, zebras, and other iconic species.
Stop for a packed lunch in the bush before continuing through the afternoon. As the sun sets over the plains, enjoy the beautiful golden scenery before returning to camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Central Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive in the Serengeti, with one last opportunity to spot wildlife across the endless plains. Continue towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, stopping for a packed lunch along the way.
The journey takes approximately 3.5 hours, arriving at the Ngorongoro Crater rim in the afternoon, where breathtaking views open across the crater floor. Continue to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
 
Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater to Kilimanjaro International Airport

After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a morning game drive. Explore the crater floor, home to lions, elephants, buffalo, and, with luck, the endangered black rhino. Enjoy a packed lunch while taking in the spectacular scenery.
Later, ascend from the crater and begin the approximately five-hour drive to Kilimanjaro International Airport, marking the end of your Tanzania safari.
