Day 1: Arrival-West Kilimanjaro
Arrive at Kilimanjaro international airport meet and great by your driver guide drive to Olpopongi in the West Kilimanjaro region 74 kilometres from the airport two hours’ drive will take us through the beautiful outback of West Kilimanjaro Depending on the season you can see game like zebras and elephants On a clear days you will have amazing views of Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru arriving at Olpopongi Maasai Village a group of Maasai and the Village Chief welcomes you with refreshments spend your evening dinner and overnight at the Village.

Day 2: Olpopongi West Kilimanjaro
After breakfast a full day at the village following with a walking safari during a walk through the village your personal Maasai guide will explain the past and contemporary life of the Tanzania Maasai Get more information about the culinary culture of the Maasai while tasting a traditional tea chai prepared on the wood fire A tasty lunch with a variety of local food highlights will end the activities inside the village Maasai warriors will guide you along their paths and explain you typical medicinal plants extraordinary trees, tracks and the local wildlife. Coming back to the village the well-deserved break is accompanied by freshly brewed coffee & cake During the sunset a group of Maasai men and woman gather around for the traditional singing & dancing performances A great BBQ-Buffet right at camp fire will provide you an unforgettable evening under the mostly starry sky.

Day 3: Arusha National Park -Tengeru Village
After breakfast drive to Arusha national park for a morning walking safari to the point where you can see the mount Kilimanjaro afternoon canoeing and lake Momella, game drive evening Cultural tour at Tengeru Village then drive to to the hotel for dinner and overnight
Arusha National Park covers Mount Meru a prominent volcano with an elevation of 4566 m in the Arusha Region of north eastern Tanzania The park is small but varied with spectacular landscapes in three distinct areas In the west the Meru Crater funnels the Jekukumia River the peak of Mount Meru lies on its rim Ngurdoto Crater in the south east is grassland The shallow alkaline Momella Lakes in the northeast have varying algal colours and are known for their wading birds A choice to visit and play with kids or be a part of their class will give you a touch of local child level experience visit an old stone quarry site developed after WWII whereby more than 100 refugees from Poland were brought to Arusha.

Day 4 Lake Eyasi cultural interaction
After breakfast then take a rough road to lake eyasi another soda lake in the rift valley arrive in afternoon then cultural interaction with the datoga tribe (a very interesting tribe) our tatoga guide at the village will lead the tour
We will spend these days exploring on foot this dry and rugged landscape which is still inhabited by a small group of bushmen the hadzabe or watindiga, who still live in bands, hunting with bows and arrows; gathering roots, tubers and wild fruits as the humankind lived 10,000 years ago Another interesting tribe in this area are the datoga (also called the barabaig or mang’ati Initially, they were exercising a lot of rivalry over grazing land with the maasai.

Day 5 Lake Manyara national park Mto wa mbu cultural tour
After breakfast depart f for Lake Manyara national park for the day game drive in the park lunch afternoon visit Mto wa mbu for a cultural tours and biking evening drive back to Arusha drop off to the airport for your departure back home Manyara provides the perfect introduction to Tanzania s birdlife More than 400 species have been recorded and even a first time visitor to Africa might reasonably expect to observe 100 of these in one day Inland of the floodplain a narrow belt of acacia woodland is the favored haunt of Manyara’s legendary tree climbing lions and impressively tusked elephants tour Mto Wa Mbu Village has a very active cultural programme that seeks to show visitors the traditional way of life of the villagers through various activities and also a range of community projects that are in place You can visit top spots in the area taste Tanzanian foods and experience authentic cultural interaction.
