23 Days Exploring Tanzania on Safari

Day 1: Arrival, transfer to Arusha

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport and being picked up by our professional guide, meet and greet then being transferred to the hotel for briefing and overnight stay.

Accommodation: Mount Meru Game Lodge

Day 2: Kilimanjaro National Park

After Breakfast, drive to the foothills of Mt Kilimanjaro (Shira Plateau) , through the West Kilimanjaro Forest Reserve (Est 1921) then enter the park through  Londorossi Gate. Ascend drive to starting point towards Shira plateau. Spend a day time hiking with picnic lunch, after about 2hrs descend down to the Starting point then head back to the Lodge.

Day 3 Tarangire National Park

After Breakfast, start en-route drive to Tarangire National Park.

Accommodation: Tarangire Ndovu Camp

Day 4 Explore Tarangire National Park

Enjoy last part of game drive in Tarangire National Park. Later driver to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5 Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive

After Breakfast Start driving to Ngorongoro Crater early in the morning. After lunch at the hippo pool. Ascend the crater and overnight at the crater rim

Day 6 En-route to Central Serengeti (Seronera Valley)

Game drive en-route to North Serengeti to witness the great river crossing.

Accommodation: Narudi Tented Lodge

Day 7 Northern Part of Serengeti.

Enjoy game drive and if lucky enough you will have a chance to witness wildebeest crossing the great Mara River.

Accommodation: Kaskaz Mara Camp

Day 8 Game drive.

Full day game drive in this part of Serengeti National Park.

DAY 9 : Fly to Nyerere National Park.

After breakfast, being transferred to Kogatende Airstrip to catch a flight to Nyerere National Park.

Flight-schedule: Kogatende ETD 10:15 – Nyerere ETA 11:30

On arrival, you will be picked up by our guide and start game drive at Nyerere National park. Drive to the lodge for lunch and relaxation.

DAY 10 : Game Drive in Nyerere.

Full day game drive in Nyerere National Park

Accommodation: African Safari Selous

DAY 11 : Fly to Ruaha National Park.

Being transferred to the Airstrip for a flight to Ruaha.

Flight-schedule: Nyerere ETD 09:20 – Ruaha ETA 11:00

On arrival, you will be picked up by our guide and start game drive in Ruaha National park.

DAY 12 : Game Drive in Ruaha.

Enjoy full day game drive

DAY 13 : Fly to Katavi.

Fly to Katavi National Park in the Morning.

Flight-schedule: Ruaha ETD 07:00 – Katavi ETA 08:30.

Being picked up at the Airstrip and start game drive.

DAY 14 : Game Drive.

Full day game drive in Katavi National Park

Accommodation: Katavi Wildlife Camp

DAY 15 : Game Drive.

After an African breakfast, start game viewing

DAY 16 : Fly to Mahale.

Early Morning flight to Mahale right after breakfast

Flight-schedule: Katavi ETD 08:30 – Mahale ETA 09:30.

On arrival, being picked and transferred to the lodge

DAY 17– Day 19: Explore Mahale.

Exploring Mahale National Park

Accommodation: Mahale Park Bandas

Day 20 : Fly to Zanzibar.

Catch a flight to Dar right after breakfast.

Flight-schedule: Mahale ETD 09:30 – Dar ETA 16:25.

Later catch another flight to Zanzibar.

Flight-schedule: Dar ETD 19:30 – Zanzibar ETA 19:45.

On arrival, being picked up and transferred to the hotel

DAY 21 – Day 22 : Relaxation at the Beach.

Enjoy full day relaxing at the beach.

DAY 23  Departure.

This marks the last day of this amazing adventure. You will arrange picked up from your hotel to Zanzibar airport to Dar es Salaam International Airport a flight back home.
